I posted this in the ES3 forum, but apparently nobody is responding there, so I'm cross-posting here in the ES2 forum...
I see ES3 has been in beta for quite some time by now. But it's not out of beta yet. That also means you're not optimizing it for speed, but rather for debugging.
How long until ES3 is ready for prime time? Should I be starting a new project using ES2 or ES3 right now?
ES2 or ES3 for new project?
Re: ES2 or ES3 for new project?
Hi there,
My apologies, the work day here in the UK is 9am to 5pm, so your original post was posted at the end of the day. And the new work day has only just began here
Because Easy Save 3 is in beta, I can't recommend you use it in a project unless you have time to test it adequately. However, Easy Save 3 is quite stable, and there aren't any significant performance optimisations to be made.
Also the more people who try it out, the sooner we can get it out of beta, so we always appreciate it when people do give it a go!
All the best,
Joel

Thanks, and my apologies for being impatient.
