Re: Multi-Scene Workflow

Hi there, and thanks for sending that over, I've managed to replicate the issue from what you've sent. Firstly you're using a very old version of Easy Save, so I recommend updating. Secondly, because your Auto Save is set to load in Awake, it's loading before the reference manager for the scene has ...

Re: Multi-Scene Workflow

Hi there, Unfortunately it's not possible for me to replicate this from what you've sent, and I wasn't able to replicate this at my end. Please could you replicate this in a new project with a simple scene using the latest version of Easy Save and private message it to me with instructions so I can ...

Re: Multi-Scene Workflow

Hi there, If you're using Auto Save it will automatically create a unique key on a per-scene basis. However, if you want to achieve this with code you would simply set the filename parameter of the ES3.Save and ES3.Load methods to the name of your scene. Something along the lines of: ES3.Save("myKey...

Re: Trying to save a class but it always saves null

Hi there, and thanks for getting in contact :) None of the members of your class are serializable as they are properties rather than fields. Giving each of them the [SerializeField] attribute will make them serializable and resolve your issue. I.e. public class PlayerSave { [SerializeField] public D...

Re: Save only Transform and Material from Prefab

Hi Vineet,

You can programmatically add an ES3AutoSave Component and assign the Components want to save to the ES3AutoSave Component's 'componentsToSave' field.

Re: Save only Transform and Material from Prefab

Hi there, The easiest way to do this is to go to Tools > Easy Save 3 > Auto Save > Prefabs, select the Components you want saved on the prefab from there, and set the Save Event and Load Event to None at the top of the window. When you call ES3.Save on the prefab using code it will acknowledge what ...

Re: Load scene and set position for multiple saves

Glad you managed to find a solution.

Note that you can achieve a similar thing using a static variable as these persist between scenes.

All the best,

Re: Loading of raw UnityEngine.Object not working

Hi there, I don't appear to be able to replicate this at my end. Here's a script I used to try to replicate this: using UnityEngine; using System.Collections.Generic; public class UnityObjectType : MonoBehaviour { public List<UnityEngine.Object> objs; // Assign to this in the Editor void Start() { i...
